This is a hands-on 2-hour workshop on computers specifically designed to help participants set up social media accounts for their business. It will cover:

How to set up accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram – we will guide participants through the process on the computer
Different ways to use social media
Participants will need to bring a smartphone/mobile and a USB stick with their business logo image (large) and a short paragraph about their business.

Despina Johnson has been the Chief Executive of Enterprise Enfield since 2009 and has been working in economic regeneration for over 20 years. She has led on many business support programmes funded through local and central government, as well as the European Union. Despina sees the Digital Accelerator Programme as a wonderful new opportunity to support young and dynamic businesses to grow in this part of London.
Entrepreneur in Residence
Paul is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, with over 20 years experience launching and managing IT, property and fintech businesses. Paul has a diverse skill set and a passion for helping new and early stage businesses, either in the capacity of advisor, angel investor or board member.
Marija Butkovic is a digital marketing and business consultant, public speaker, blogger and startup mentor who has worked across a range of projects in different industry sectors, including legal, journalism, tech, IoT, wearable tech and fashion tech. She is also a STEM ambassador.
Liz has spent more than 20 years in the IT and business service industry in the UK and USA, holding senior positions within the private and public sector. Accredited as a SFEDI Business Adviser, she is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs overcome challenges to start, manage and run their businesses successfully.
The Digital Business Accelerator Programme is open to early stage business owners who are either trading or have registered a business under 42 months old. These business must either have premises located in the London borough of Enfield, or be willing to relocate to the borough - this can include registering with Enterprise Enfield’s Let's Go! Business Hub*
*If you don’t have business premises in Enfield, you can join the Let's Go Business Hub at Enfield Business Centre and access this digital support. The Hub offers a range of facilities for businesses including: business advice, hot desking, a mailing address and mailbox, discounted meeting room hire and access to networking events via the North London Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise.
